STAR DRUMMING

Star Drumming is a new form of drumming. It is based on drumming the I Ching hexagrams in various ways and in drumming the signs of the zodiac. Hexagrams to play can be chosen from a family relationship, divining an I Ching hexagram and for using planetary positions or New Moon positions to determine the relevant hexagram. Then the hexagram is divided into patterns and played around the circle. Sometimes the whole I Ching can be played in sequence.
In this drawing the I Ching hexagrams are superimposed on the grass in the circle and the zodiac signs are placed around theouter edge of the drum circle.
